I thought I would give you a little update on my studio and my never-ending collection of props!
It’s a good job I have my studio to hide the packages in, as I think my husband would be horrified if he knew how many I really have! It is an addiction, but I love it! Every time I see another cute hat or headband or outfit, I visualise the babies in them and then I'm sold and next thing you know there is another knock at the door and another chunk out of my bank account! But I wouldn’t have it any other way! My job is my dream job and I love every second of it and I wouldn’t change it for the world! I'm super lucky!
So this month, I thought id show you some of the props I have, so you can better understand what sort of images you can get at your shoot, or a shoot you book for a loved one.
Let's start with the headbands, hats and outfits section! Each item is handmade with love and totally unique. I have tiny little outfits suitable for newborns of all sizes from teeny weeny five pound babies up to the adorable squidgy twelve pound bundles.
Next, we move onto the blanket and throws section! So many of these are so beautiful, thick, chunky and soft, I often find myself wanting to steal one to snuggle up with on a cold night! They each create a perfect texture as a background for your little bundles to curl up into for those super cute sleepy images.
Moving on, we go into the props section of my studio and my oh my I have some of the cutest props if I do say so myself! Take a look and see for yourselves! Whether you would like to keep it very dainty and simple right through to those who may love a bit of superhero or star wars, I have something for everyone. Everything in my studio is there for you to use at your session and let my clients decide what they would like to use. Some still love to keep everything simple and natural with just creams and whites which is absolutely fine. If I add anteing to my images I try to keep focus on baby with something to just add to my images and not distract from the true star of the show.
Lastly no studio is complete without a little promo section. For this I have my own material as well as other businesses I love and recommend, as I’m all for supporting each other!
