Well what a year this year has been for my little newborn photography business here in Plymouth! Can you believe it’s December already? This year has flown by! My Christmas mini sessions are in full swing, getting me right into the festive mood! I mean who can’t love Christmas when you have little stars like these giving you all the festive feels?! I have just loved having you all back in the studio.
I thought I would do a roundup of the year for you it’s been an eventful one full of highs and a few lows. But we won’t dwell on those, but focus on all the good things this year has brought. I still can’t believe my little business has nearly 6500 likes. I have had over 250 newborn babies visiting my studio for their first photo shoot just this year, not to mention all the returning little sitters and cake smash sessions on top of that, oh and seven weddings photographed too! It's truly incredible and makes me burst with joy daily! To think I started all those years ago in my living room with my newborn photography and now I have converted my garage into a wonderful little studio, filled with everything that makes me happy and doing a job I adore!
My little Henry started school this year and he is thriving and loves it! And my eldest son Peter has just turned seventeen and is starting his driving lessons, wowzers! I am, like many of you, a super proud mum and also can’t believe how quickly that time has gone, so this was one of the major decisions I took this year, to cut down the amount of sessions I do weekly, so I have more time for my children him and my family. As you all know our little ones grow so fast, you can blink and miss it. So, this extra time I have now, will be spent wisely making memories and enjoying precious family time.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with many talented local ladies running their own businesses, one of which is the wonderful lady, Twin’s, Tantrums and Cold Coffee. Gosh if you don’t follow this lady you NEED to! Not only is she hilarious, her posts will have you crying with laughter, she is also so lovely and down to earth. We have joined forces on many occasions this year to create competitions for all you fabulous followers and you’ve loved it! She also created a Mama meet, which I attended and thoroughly enjoyed.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that my sessions book up very far in advance, so if you or a loved one are expecting please contact me to pencil in the date before it’s too late. I can take bookings for newborn photo shoots in my Plymouth studio anytime after your first scan. I’d hate for you to miss out! I also offer beautifully presented newborn photography Gift Cards, which make the perfect present for baby showers and Christmas gifts for expecting parents, or even for Little Sitters shoots to capture older babies too.
I am looking forward to all that the New Year of 2020 is going to bring and I hope you all are too. May you all have a fun filled year, with success in all you do and a year filled with lots of love, luck and happiness.
Thank you for all your continued support of me and my little business. I am eternally grateful, without all of you I would not have got this far!
Thank you once again and have a wonderful Christmas
Michelle
