2019 Done and Dusted, Let's get on with 2020!

Well what a year it's been here in my Plymouth newborn photography studio ! Hope you’ve all had more highs than lows in 2019 and are looking forward to a wonderful 2020!

For me this year has been extremely busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I know it may sound too soon to mention but… After the popularity of my Christmas sessions, I have been thinking about doing Easter Sessions? What do you think? Is this something you would be interested in? I’m really just using this as an excuse to add more props to my collection, as I’m currently googling bunny ears, baby chicks, fluffy tails and carrots! How adorable would this be!

Its wonderful to see that my diary for newborn photo shoots is almost fully booked till the end of May! So, if you have a date or know someone expecting don’t forget to give me a message as soon as you know as I hate turning people away.

I always showcase my newborn photography and My wedding photography Is not something I talk about or show very often, as I only do a handful each year. That being said I've got four bookings already for 2020 but do have space for a few more, so again message me for my package info if you or someone you know is getting married in 2020. I love everything about weddings and just adore capturing such a special day. Even though I only capture a small number of weddings (to ensure lots of time is left for your beautiful new bundles) I really enjoy being out of the studio and being creative in other ways with my photography. I have had images published in wedding magazines too! Something I am super proud of!

Here is a selection of photos from a recent wedding: -

My goal for 2020 is to further my training, as every year I embark on a journey to gain more knowledge than I already have, by meeting baby photographers I admire and receiving one to one training with them to perfect my skills. This year I will undertake some training with two photographers to improve my posing skills (well the babies not mine as that ship has sailed lol) and my editing skills. I’m a firm believer of “you never know everything” so it’s always good to train with others, especially those you admire the work of to keep up the skills and passion in your business. I am always looking for ways to improve my whole newborn photography experience.

What are your New Year’s Resolutions? I’d love to hear them!

I hope you all have an amazing New Year and 2020 provides everything you desire!

Thank you for your support throughout 2019, it has meant to world to me and my little business! Every like, share, comment and recommendation never goes unnoticed and I am

very thankful.

Michelle

xoxo
